Rob, I think you have a corrupted file. This has happened to me before and
the problem was the file called archives.$$$ in \os2\archives. I wrecked
mine by running running one of these(can't remember which) MAKEINI.EXE,
ARCINST.EXE, ARCRECOV.EXE. Fixed it by getting the file from a friends
machine who had OS/2 on the same drive. Same symptoms as you're having.
Only the original would show up in the recovery menu.
