Nah.. I think that the charges for someone who runs a pirate board/ftp and
gets caught is like 250,000 fine, with up to 5 years in prison.  One kid, I
remember, pirated the source code for the game Blood (tklp of ROR), and he
got sued and had tons of legal and financial trouble from that from the
company, 3D Realms.  Also, you get all your computer equipment taken away..
and that hurts, since these successful ftps and boards require expensive
modems/terminals, systems, and large HDDs..
