 Yes, we remember how going conservative in the middle of the
 depression worsened it. We remember how outrageous oil prices
 trashed the economy in the '70s.

 The money would not be a problem had Reagan and Bush II run our
 debt load up so high. When Reagan took office the debt load was
 about 33%. According to the 2009 federal budget history files,
 it is now more than twice that. IOW, Reagan and Bush II have
 blown half the credit availability we had. Oh, and that was
 before the recession. With the recession, and the spending the
 Bush administration is ladeling out, we may not have much credit
 left.

 When we run out of ability to prime the pump, start looking for
 the depression. Now, without credit, how do we get out of that
 depression?

 Oh, yeah... print money. Can you spell Stagflation?
