Not necessarily true. I work for a company that uses Blackberrys
exclusively to communicate from corporate to the techs in the field.
That's how we get our job assignments and how they keep track of what
we're doing. Every bit of communication that is sent either way is
recorded at corporate. As a manager, I use the same program (Pulsar) on my
laptop that they use in dispatch and can monitor each tech's communication
with corporate and theirs with the techs.
I can see a problem with using this method in the WH, as email via the
internet can be intercepted by anyone with that ability. But it's not
impossible for them to have such a system.
