I am an experienced Paintbrush and  Paint user but I have come up against a
problem I cannot fix.

The cursor snaps to multiples of three pixcels.  It's as if ther was an
invisible 3-pixcel grid and the "snap-to-grid" command was on.

How can I get rid of this annoying problem?
