The number of Linux distributions is mind boggling. Is there any push
for a Linux x86 'binary standard' to eliminate this? It has crossed my
mind to make some improvements to some install or distribution-related
items, but then I realized that putting my labor into 1 out of 100
distributions is all but wasted effort.
