subject: What`s `HST` mean?

I received an incoming 16.8k HST connect today, and it was certainly a
quicker handshake than a 2400 V.22bis connection. I was quite astounded at
how quickly both modems negotiated.

I was sitting here when I received the call. It started off sounding
similar to a V.34 connect, but was so quick that I can barely remember the
sound now.

I just had a look through my mailer log; it reveals that Paul Sanders
achieved a 16.8k HST connect to my system last night.
