August, I tried using Malwarebytes Chameleon on the XP box. I clicked on the first Test button and got a Update and then a Quick Scan. Then I clicked the next Test button in line and all went the same. Thinking about it over right now, I believe Chameleon only has to be ran until Malwarebytes get to do a Quick Scan. I clicked on several of them, then when I got to, IIRC, one the firefox options it Barfed on it. Malwarebytes had installed a new version just before I decided to try running their Chameleon. To use Chameleon in XP, I went to Start - All Programs - Malwarebytes - Tools - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Chameleon . I thought I'd mention this to You after remembering that You posted messages here about Malwarebytes. * SLMR 2.1a #T348 * Be not simply good;be good for something.HenryDavidThorea --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux* Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 953 @PATH: 2320/105 0/0 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
