One of, yes.  I was offered an Octocom V.34 by Dataplex some moons before
the V.34 Couriers were first publicly released in the US.  (For some $2600!

No such protocol, outside of marketing.  33.6k V.34 would perhaps be a more
apt and non-brand-specific description for ITU-T V.34 (1996)?
