Wow, that could actually be true! How amazing is that!?
(Laurie, Lisa, Lissa, Mike, Barb, Russ, Kat...)

I've met Kathy, Karen, Lisa, Lissa, Mike, Hossie, Vicky, Pakki, Ally,
and Sylvia (Hossie (George, though he was never called that) has died,
and the ones after him don't post any more)

not
get the "WOW! How tall are you" bit as well, as she's just 6'0" even.

Could be -- my European friends are frequently as tall as I am, or have
a
number of friends who are (or are taller) Both of Tryggve's (he's
Swedish)
sisters are taller than I am, so he's well used to it :) Martin (German)
is
as tall, and says his parents are both taller than he is.

I picture you all in the livingroom in my head... I know you all, and
yet
meeting people always surprised me :) It was a constant struggle not to
call
people by their beach names You'd be surprised how fitting those
names are
too...

You didn't have to make any effort. I'm often called Phoenix, Lisa is
often called Shadowcat, Mike is often called Bardmock, and Lissa
introduced herself to me as Wingling when we first met.

LOL!
very much so :)

The hilarious thing is a Phoenix and a Shadowcat trying to share a
dwelling place. She really does get ill when it's too hot, and I really
do get ill when it's too dark. When we had a mini heat wave this month
(in the high 30s for several days) I was full of energy, cheerful, and
physically revved up - she was reduced to grunts, keeping her room cool
and dark. Overnight it snapped back to Shadowcat weather, chilly, damp,
misty, heavy overcast. She woke up full of energy, cheerful, and
physically revved up. I had trouble waking up at all, trouble getting
out of bed, had no appetite, kept falling asleep at the keyboard, at the
table, on the sofa, and Lisa had to repeat everything she said to me two
or three times before I heard/understood. Priceless - like a comedic
skit

Laurie I am a firebird and I'm okay, I steam at night and I bask all day
Phoenix
