Hiya,  Kay,  been a while...

I've been running Maximus here since I put the board up back in the spring
of '92,  and have never seen any particular reason to consider switching to
anything else.

There were recent y2k fix (beta!) releases,  I wouldn't worry about them
just yet.  What I run here is 3.01.  The y2k releases came out through some
file echo and also are on somebody's (Gary Gilmore?) web site,  I'm sure
you'll get a response on that point.

Nothing comes to mind for me,  offhand.  I've found it to be the most
flexible package out there,  and have only seldom had a bit of a problem
with getting it to do what I wanted it to,  mostly that's not the case.

They're out now,  at least in beta.  I don't think this is going to be a
real problem, based on posts from Scott in here.
