RI> Is 5 patches per week what you consider the acceptable patch release = RI>frequency for 1 CD side (~700MB) of install, 1 DVD side (~4.7GB) of = instal RI>or something else? RI> Is this frequency specific to linux and the quality of its releases = RI>or does it apply to other operating systems (e.g. OS X, Windows)? How = abo RI>non-OS software releases? I would excpet the patches for a CD full of Appications to be Higher then Win/OS X. First the Linus OS and it's applications are Work in Progress. People all over the World are working to improve it or repair Glitches. And that is the "Beauty" of Linux. You are not stuck for weeks or months, or in some cases Forever, with a problem. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
