Most people marry other people who are not particularly intelligent. That`s just a fact. And it applies to both women and men. The reason for that is simple: there just aren`t that many very intelligent people around. You`re probably getting that comment from something I posted in answer on another newsgroup to a woman who wondered why men seem to prefer dumb women. I can only presume from her comments that she considered herself intelligent. If she is, in fact, intelligent, it`s only reasonable that she would have that perception since most women would be dumber than she is and they would comprise the bulk of the female population. A man might have made a similar observation and I would have made the same comment to him. Since most men are not particularly intelligent, an intelligent man is likely to perceive women as being more interested in dumb men. There are many, many more men of average or lesser intelligence than there are geniuses. > And women have live human beings who are pushed from their bodies im much > greater numbers. Do get back to me when you try that. This is an interesting comment. Since giving birth is something only women can do, what you`re saying amounts to telling me that you`ll only listen to me if I`m a woman. Again, that`s a sexist attitude. A non-sexist attitude would be to listen to someone and evaluate what they say without regard for their gender. --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag* Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) SEEN-BY: 633/267 5030/786 @PATH: 261/38 123/500 379/1 633/267 |
