Hi James,

I think you need an update on the real status of what has been happening.

In fact, I have publicly stated that we will fix any y2k problems in both
Maximus and Squish. As soon as people tell us about problems, we will fix
them or indicate a usable workaround.

To date, no one has come forward with a legitimate problem that we were
unable to resolve. We have already posted a good workaround for entering
y2k dates right now (01/03/103 = Jan. 3, 2003).

I have heard that there may be some problems with the QWK mail handling
procedures when the year does hit 2000, but we have not tracked this one
down, and in any event, this will certainly not be an issue for about two
years.

We will release a proper fix for all of these, probably later this year,
once we are convinced that we have covered most of the other problems, if
any, in the same release.

==================================================================
So some of the KNOWN problems have workarounds, and he is still wanting
"other" problems to be reported. Also note he did not say a fix
WOULD be available this year, just probably.

What problems have YOU reported to Scott?.............pk.
