   I had one that should have hinted about a reboot.   My initial install
of KDE didn't work.  There was a weird error message about Fonts. Somewhere
in the process or troubleshooting it, I rebooted and voila - KDE worked.
The weird text mode font error message is still there, so it must not have
had anything to do with the first problem.

   I'm sure there is some service that I should have restarted, but I
didn't read far enough in the manual to figure out what I should have done.
