Thanks to Opus deciding it didn't like the year 1999, I'm not only
operating in a time warp (this message has the correct date but that's
because I'm using msged which doesn't care), I'm about to convert over to a
new system somewhat earlier than I'd intended... :-> 

Anyway, currently on hand I've got a copy of Maximus 3.01 I acquired early
last year and haven't looked at since, and would like some advice before I
start doing anything serious with it. Is there a later release that would
probably be better (I can get at websites, but not easily, so prefer to
know first if it's there or not)?  If so, which one?  

Is there anything you wish someone had told you before you started using
the system that isn't.. quite.. findable in the docs?  Strange things it
does when you're not expecting it?  (Other than the Silver Xpress problem
Karen just posted on anyway.)   I'm told there's an upcoming update to make
it survive into the year 2000 but it doesn't sound like it'll be out early
enough for me to wait for it to arrive.

Suggestions?
