BT> This message came to me (Bill Thompson) on the Common Ground BBS. There

 BT> must

BT> be another Bill Thompson (the author of the original message your reply

 BT> was

BT> meant for) at another address. This has happened once before, and I

 BT> reported

BT> it to CG, but obviously messages are still getting misdirected to me (and

BT> perhaps my messages to him!!).

BT> Suggest you re-send and hope it gets to the right person.

Suggest YOU learn what a bulletin Board works like.

If there is a bulletin board on the wall outside your corner shop,

with notices & messages pinned up on it, then any message addressed

to anyone, can be read by ANYONE else.

And ANYONE with the same name can answer, if they think that the

message applies to them.

If you don't think it applies to you, THEN YOU DONT ANSWER IT.

The message to Bill Thompson will be on every computer in the world

that carries this echo, You take it or leave it, if it doesn't apply

to you. There could be 1000 Bill Thompsons reading this now.

If you want to send a private message then use NETMAIL. (like I should

have done to send you this) But seeing as you don't know how echomail

works then you wouldnt know how to get this message if I sent it

NETMAIL.

  Common sense really.

Further to the original message above I would use ATX1D to be sure.

Sorry Ian.

Russell
