   I don't think he meant that the file listings should cease or even be
   reduced, but that the chess chatter should increase.  CHESS_TOURNEY has
   always struck me as "chatter-sparse", although it is somewhat less so

   the INTER-ECHO MATCH started to take shape.  CHESS used to be *much*
   chattier, but our more colorful debates were usually fueled by a few
   psychotically argumentative souls who don't seem to be posting anymore.
