As you mentioned dialup worked fine this indicates BC>> that it is not on Craigs end but on your end. NB>> Which telnet client is that? And is it for DOS? BC> I use Telix for Windows as my telnet client. Windows not DOS. That's my point. I know* that people using Windows seem to not have any trouble with the uploads in Zmodem. But people using DOS to telnet always do. Which is why I'm looking for solutions for DOS-telnet. NB>> I have no problems in Dos with downloads at Chowda, just the uploads NB>> when _in_dos_and_in_telnet_. BC> I never tried to telnet in DOS. Again, my point. I *AM* telnetting in DOS. Straight DOS, Dos7.1 to be exact. Not windows, trying to do something in a dos box, but honest-to- goodness DOS. BC> I started out with a Radio Schack MOD III TRSDOS then on to MOD 4. BC> When I got a PC it had DOS 6.0 and Win 3.1 I intermixed the two and BC> still do to some extent but do mostly windows now. I run my Bluewave BC> in a DOS window. In fact all most all my DOS work is done in a DOS BC> window. And there we are definitely different. :) I started in Dos on a PC-compatible, and am still there. The version of Dos has upgraded, as has the version of windows that could be called up for the very few things that can't* readily be done in dos. But for me, those are very few and VERY far between. The computer boots up into Dos only. The "win" command later boots up windows, for those very rare times. My usage* hasn't changed. Oh, and the 286 we started with has been replaced with a Pentium... probably a dozen or more years ago. Still working fine, never crashed... :) ttyl neb ... File not found, I'll load something *I* think is interesting. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.20 --- ViaMAIL!/WC v1.60d* Origin: Chowdanet (401-331-0615) telnet://chowdanet.com (1:323/120) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 323/120 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
