I posted messages here (in this echo), Jan 6, 2003, titled "Synchronet
support"
and again Jun 8, 2003, titled "Synchronet (SMB) support".

*I* don't need help. I was basically offering my help to any HUSKY developers
that were interesting in supporting the Synchronet Message Base (SMB) format
in hpt, msged, etc., in addition to JAM and Squish and whatever other formats
you currently support.

Without knowing much about Husky, I think this could be achieved by adding SMB
support to SMAPI. There's a free SMB C library which consists of the following
files:
http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/src/sbbs3/smblib.h
http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/src/sbbs3/smbdefs.h
http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/src/sbbs3/smblib.c
http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/src/sbbs3/smbtxt.c

These files have dependencies on the Synchronet LGPL cross-platform development
library (XPDEV):
http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/src/xpdev/xpdev.tar.gz?tarball=1

If you have any build problems or would like to examine the Synchronet or SMB
utility souce code, see http://synchro.net/source.html for details.
