There are pluses to that...
this side of the border is going to go bankrupt trying to pay for the
boomers because our birth rates declined sharply after them and there aren't
enough ppl in the pool anymore.
I believe when they started the SS thing, there were 20+ workers earning for
every 1 person receiving
Now it's something like 6 to 1. Take those figures with a chunk of rock salt
though - it's been a very long time since I read the numbers.

But then you have countries like Iran -- 60% of the population is under 30.
That's unbelievable. It's also a nightmare waiting to happen. The young do
not take well to dis-satisfaction.

Australia used to have a problem with population too (may still have) and
were paying ppl to have kids, encouraging immigration etc...
