I have recently started using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft
  Word 6.0 for windows.    Everytime I open it up I get an error
  message.   First it asks me what I want to convert from, then it tells
  me that the document template is not valid.   Once I hit ok (or so
  what) to those two messages, everything works fine.
  My guess is that it is trying to open some default document but can't
  find it.  BUT I have no idea what or where it might be looking.
  Can anyone tell me how to eliminate this nuisance?
