um, bad as this will sound... I don't like books spilled all over my
livingroom either :)
Actually, unless I'm reading it, I don't have books out anywhere but my room
now. Having adultified my apartment, and weeded out the pressed wood
furniture I'd had since high school, I found I had nowhere to store my books
but the Forbidden Closet. This is, of course, a situation I intend to
correct, but I'm saving up for some really nice bookcases that will fit in
with the rest of the place.

I love cookbooks... love them. Do I use them? Hardly ever...
but I have some fabulous ones :) (And I *do* use them, just not on a daily
basis)
