Bad binaries.  Whomsoever was the cretin that packaged the friggin' .DEB that
Rick downloaded from the Ubuntu repository obviously up-f@cked it.  Not Rick's
fault but perhaps the fault of his stubborness.  Mmm... that sounds a little
like me... ;)
