When you see an announcement regarding a new Beta, dial 520-290-2807.
Login as "Beta Test" using password "Guest".  This will begin an
immediate ZModem transfer of the latest Beta, with automatic logoff at
end of transfer.  There's a USR Courier HST/V.34+ modem on that line.
This will be the quickest (and probably cheapest) way for you to get new
Betas.  You'll be connected for less than a minute.  Assuming you pay
.10/min for LD, this turns out to be a very economical way to get new
Betas.
Fred uploads the Betas directly to my BBS.  I don't have to move the
file, or anything, before it's available.  The "Beta Test" account is
set up to send the latest file.  If it's sitting in my upload
directory, that's the one that will be sent.  If there's not one in
the upload directory, then the one that's currently posted in my
regular Commo files directory will be sent.  Either way, you'll get
the latest file Fred has u/l'd to my board.
