The best striper fishing I've found is from a boat on Lake Mead, in Nevada
and Arizona. You need to go a couple of miles from the high traffic areas,
but the results are worth it...and so is the shore scenery. The last time
I went, we were dropping our hooks about 45-60 feet. My wife and my
daughter swam while we fished. They went into some shallow pools near shore
and the small stripers (this was mid-September) were curious enough to swim
p
to them.
