I've always been interested in time travel.
I have noticed reading history an event will often hinge on one small item
that the good guys/bad guys did or didn't do which set off a series of events
that changed history.
Two that come to mind are Napoleon at Waterloo who had a minor (in the scheme
of things) physical problem the took him out of command for a short period of
time. The other is Hitler at D-Day where he gave orders a day or so before he
was NOT to be disturbed for ANY reason for a couple of days and the generals
didn't know what to do. Disturb him and risk problems, or overstep their
authority and do something on their own, since Adolph was micro-managing the
war at that point?

Old tag line from way back: A waist is a terrible thing to mind. :)
