Hello All!

Personally I see nothing to be ashamed of for having a first name, no
matter what it is. I grew up with people mocking both my first and last
names and I got over it..

Ross Cassell

Ross, Moss, Rosie, Rossco, Rossco p Coltrain

Cassell, Cosell (Guess who), Casmell, Casserole, Casshole etc etc

But Ross Sauer does not elect to use his first name nor does he desire to
be referred to by it.

Those of you referring to him by his first name of Otto, are doing so
purposefully to get on his nerves because you know it bothers him, even
though the name of Otto isnt appearing in his message headers. People,
using these 2 words has the same effect --> Ann Coulter, sorry Ross I
couldnt resist. :)

To ROSS SAUER:

This is petty, I mean my opinion on whether or not you use or dislike your
first name aside, you can ignore it, after all you showing a reaction
positively reinforces those whom want to take digs at you, but in this
case, they arent using a deragotory name, they are using one that is on
every single legal document that makes up you.. ie Birth Certificate, state
ID's, drivers licenses, diplomas, insurance documents, bank documents, govt
stuff etc etc..

but..

To EVERYONE ELSE:

Ross Sauer is not the first person you and I have encountered or will ever
encounter, who routinely uses their middle name or a derivative of their
first or middle names to be addressed by. I had a Uncle whose full name was
Noah Sease Bishop, yet everyone in and out of the family called him Sease.

How many of you have attended business meetings or social functions with
strangers and as part of getting introduced you were handed a name tag and
asked to write down the name you wish others to know you by?

Same difference and to each their own and in the end, its their business as
to why I suppose.

So the next person using the word "OTTO" in their messages in
here best be recapping the most recent incarnation of a Beetle Bailey Comic
strip!
