Yes.. but if the mail reader fails?

I know people are using trackers to posting in echo areas and some of them
doesn't set tearline and origin.

How defficult can it to implement, here is some pseudo code.

if(origin == NULL && tearline == NULL)
{
    sprintf(tmpmsgbuf, "\r--- hpt %d\r*Origin: %s", version, origin);
    strcat(msgbuf, tmpmsgbuf);
}
