In regards to Netto Library, I will send you the source code since you are
not in the U.S. You probably have the Internation Release of CA-Clipper, and
thereby probably would not be able to use the compiled version I have here.
I do have the source code, and like I said earlier, this library is FreeWare.
For Windows NT/95, Novell 4.10, I would recommend the RSQ/L (?) from Horizon
Communications. You can go the Phil Barnett's www page
(http://www.iag.net/~philb) and click on the link from there. This should
handle those platforms for you.
In regards to WFW, I do not know what to say. You first need to find out the
protocol that it is using before trying to solve this one. My best guess
would be that it is a NetBIOS-compatible network, as you use non-proprietary
network cards. If this is the case, then I would recommend CA-Clipper Tools
III. It includes everything but the kitchen sink :).
CA-Clipper Tools III includes functions to handle numbers, disk i/o
(formatting diskettes, checking diskette types, etc.), checking system
information (number drives installed, CPU type, monitor installed, etc.), and
several other functions to numerous to list.
There have been no enhancements to Netto for several years. If I recall
correctly, there was only one author to this library, and he did a good job
on the source code.
If there is anybody else who is reading this message and would like a copy of
the library sent to you via e-mail (Internet), please send a message to
business.by.design@juno.com with your request. I will e-mail a MIME-encoded
ZIP file containing the source code.
