I built my DX-40 kit over 50 years ago.

I know that isn't the same as Home Brew Transmitters the earlier Hams
built, but it was a start for me in kit building.

I built lots of Heathkit and Knightkit gear and a few things I found in
Amateur Radio magazine articles also.
