An earlier version of FAX software for the PK232 required a special dual
RS232 cable that connected to a printer and all output was directed to the
printer.
Later versions of the PK232 had FAX capabilities that went to the PC screen
and could save the images for later printing if desired.
I don't know if that would work with an ATARI, however, so I must defer to
your better knowledge of that system.
