I installed the NE2000Plus drivers for my GVC NIC2000 cards... (and I dont 
think they get much cheaper than them :-)
Gotta remember to check for abused IRQs... I found that I was using IRQ-15 on 
one of my cards, which is a bad thing when you've got two EIDE ports...  Once 
I cleaned that up, I've had no probelms with my mini-net.
