Glad to hear You passed the Amateur Radio Operators License Exam.

Being a SWL is one thing, being able to have QSO's is much better!

After a schoolmate let me listen a bit to his Hallicrafter S-38, and
a neighbor giving me a Midwest AM-FM-SW Radio so I could listen to it
at home I got hooked.

My school friend got his Novice license and that got me interested in
wanting to know what those DITs and DAHs Him and His Buddies were saying
when we were together.
I figured they were talking about me, so I learned the Code so I would
know what they were saying.

You might say I learned the Morse Code in self defense.  .... ..
