FWIW: i cannot tell about the date as i and numerous other hub systems run
the FTN y2k tools kit that corrects erroneous dates before/during the
tossing of the messages to our systems and downlinks... there are still
many systems out there that send invalid dates and refuse to
"FixTheirShit"... one even told me that if forced to
FHS, he would pull the plug... oh well  :(
