As far as I know of you want the convience of the Standard KVM
switch(the double hit of the Scroll Lock Key) Yes you wil ned to use the
VGA input. While a little less handy you can use a KVM switch for the
mouse and Keyboard and a seperate HMDI switch fro the monitor
