My setup is very similar, save for the IFCONFIG lo xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx line. My 
attempts however, don't even get so far as an IP problem. I'm starting to 
think that Telix may somehow be ignoring the virtual ports, and trying to 
access the hardware directly....
