Hallo All
I use a Scanman 32 with the Omnipage Direct 1.0 OCR.Software, a basic black &
white hand scanner.
This worked with Word 2 and Word 6 with changes made to "Settings.ini", its
configuration file.
These need to be changed for Word 7, and Logitech cannot suggest what the
settings can be
Relevant files say:
          Once the file is on the screen, search for the lines:
   ;OpusApp=1,1,1,2229           ;use this for word 2.0 (RTF)
   OpusApp=1,1,1,2266          ;use this for word 2.0b (RTF)
   If you have Word 2.0 (not 2.0b or 2.0c), remove the semi-colon from
   the beginning of the first line and add one to the beginning of the
   second line, after the modification it should look like this:
   OpusApp=1,1,1,2229          ;use this for word 2.0 (RTF)
   ;OpusApp=1,1,1,2266           ;use this for word 2.0b (RTF)
   Save SETTINGS.INI and close Notepad and relaunch OmniPage Direct.
