To the ATM Group:
Would I be able to use a 48mm Brandon 2" ocular with an 8" f/6.25
reflector telescope using a 1.83" secondary
and 2" Crayford focuser. Would there be any problems associated with
this combination? From the NEWT software,
I'm getting a 100% illumination diameter of 0.79" (full
Moon would be 0.45" at the lowest magnification) and 75% illumination
diameter of 1.35" (Texereau's maximum
for an 8" f/6).
Thanks.
John Lynch
