If I were a BBS freak, it probably would. ;-) I'm thinking that any such application would require asynchrony in the communication, so one of the machines would need to be a Message Server. The Message server is always ready to accept or deliver a message of 1-255 bytes, held in any of several queues, using the &PUTMSG and &GETMSG operations. I developed an Instant Messaging system to serve Apple II's on a NadaNet for use at this year's KFest, but there didn't seem to be much interest in running a cable down the hall... ;-) -michael ******** Note new website URL ******** NadaNet and AppleCrate II for Apple II parallel computing!
