Common ground.  Maybe that is because in order to love one has to be
respectful.  I am somewhat certain that must be the case.

All I know for sure is that those who don't seem to respect themselves, for
whatever reason, don't seem to be able to muster respect from others around
them.  There may be some sort of coerelation there.

I am not sure.  I think it could be from a number of causes more then
likely the enviroment one grows up in, family influences perhaps being the
major one.  However I have seen cases where one would assume the outcome to
be bad and it wasn't, or at least it doesn't appear to be so.  Another
toughie.

That is hard.  I find myself being wary when things don't seem to be
'right', whatever that means.

Yes.  'Respect for' and 'with respect to'.  The first case is what we're
trying to discuss and the second one leaked in.
