Been there, done that, in fact long ago. This string gets send to

the modem when you dialling out. Then when you finish whatever

you're doing and hang up, Win sends something else to the modem and

it contains S0=3 (I can check that getting modem's active profile).

That's the part that worries me, I've got answering machine and fax

on the same line and they will pick up the call on 2nd or 4th

(depends on situation but I want it this way) - the last thing I

need is Win trying to receive my faxes.

Fortunately Windows leaves my stored profiles alone, thanks whoever

is responsible for that... or did MS do it by mistake.
