subject: Squish Y2k update

Dallas Hinton was saying to Dave Fleming...

DF> Someone in my area said they had to comment out the Swap keyword in
DF> squish.cfg to make the update work. Unless you really need that
DF> keyword it can't hurt to try. :)

DH> It would help Scott if he knew whether you were talking about the
DH> 16-bit version or the 386 version of squish. It would probably also
DH> help to get an excerpt from the log, and/or an exact error message.
DH> I'm running the 386 version (and have been since we started testing
DH> 6 months ago) on a very low memory machine, and get this:

 DH> + 03 Jan 04:37:06 SQSH End. Toss=240 (10/s), sent=346 (15/s),
 DH> mem=916K

I don't have any of that info, Ed Bailey simply asked if anyone else had
the same problem and I offered the information that commenting out the Sawp
keyword in SQUISH.CFG apparently helped someone around here. I don't know
any other details as it was just something that caught my eye as I was
checking out another echo. Hopefully it helped Ed (and possibly others).

Adios...Dave.
