Your milage may vary. The router from my ISP is not so bad. It has two levels. 
"user" and "advanced". All I have to do to go to the "advanced" settings is two 
clicks in a "are you sure you know what you are doing" screen. The advanced 
part is English only. The user part is Dutch.
