WK>Hi!!! All sorry I've been gone awhile, I've been working on different
PowWow

o
I think the pow-wow season has started around here, although I haven't
had time to be involved yet. This weekend is Tanneman Day in
Philadelphia. Tanneman was the Lenapi mentor of William Penn. The
United American Indians of the Delaware Valley, the Quakers, and some
other folks help put on the two day celebration. I don't know if I'll
get to do anything in it, however. This weekend also sees scads of
other things: a bat mitzvah, a local chicken pot pie dinner I'm involved
in, etc. I always want to participate in Tanneman Day; and I always
miss it; because it happens the first weekend in May; and that is always
when the local chicken pot pie dinner is. Sheesh! You'd think I could
persuade them to coordinate these events. But, no! It has to be this
way! Tanneman Day has been held the first weekend of May since Penn
arrived; and this chicken pot pie dinner has been held the first weekend
in May since Noah got off his ship; and you know how tradition is.
