Except this (at least it used to be) is a bit busier... and people
actually tend to develop relationships here...  ;)  Shoneys is probably
more like a newsgroup..

Then let me (unofficially) welcome you to the MEMORIES echo... Our
moderator, Joe Mackey, will probably do so eventually, once he catches
on that you ARE new... ;)  His access to the echo doesn't always work
for seeing who he is replying to... ;)  It makes for a harder time
posting the rules of the echo, too, as he apparently can't post to
all... so when that Subject line appears, no matter who 'tis addressed
to, it's meant for All..   ;)

I've been around the BBS scene since I guess the late 80s... never left
it for the Internet, didn't really get into the games much (except for
Scrabble and KOTB and the like), but have been in a number of the
echoes... :)
