A full set in simultaneous operation was exactly the original PEP spec.) Telebit implemented it in full digital using a Motorola 68000, which did make it practical. AWA had the skills to have done that in house - but put 'em to work doing documentation for microwave landing systems instead. Bum outcome. Australian looser complex, same as usual, lousy show, umpteenth rerun... Sigh. Frustration is.
