Is there a way to get Paradox to assign a number in the autoincrementing
field before moving to the next record?  We are using Paradox to enter
and track orders at our company.  I am using the autoincrementing field
to assign order numbers (this is also the key field).  The problem is
that since orders are entered in Form view, the person entering the
order does not know what the order number is.  I would also like to
print out a hard copy of the order for our shop.  I have written a
method which runs a query based on the current order number then a one
record report is printed (the hard copy of the order).  This does not
work during order entry since the order number is not assigned yet.  Any
suggestions?
