They probably wouldn't have admitted to being overtly disrespectful anyway... :) You probably knew more about the woman experience than they were giving you credit for, as well... if you'd paid any attention at all to the "wife stuff" or to the "mother stuff"... Or had a sister you were close to, for that matter... :) MK> Always keep an extra ace up one's sleeve eh? But of course! :) It also helps to be reasonably bilingual in male/female languages... Hubby tends to be pretty fluent in female, as he was raised by his mom after his dad died. He was only 9, his brother was 12... and Mom was fairly open with them both, possibly even as much as she might have been had she had daughters instead. And I tend to be fairly fluent in male, having been "one of the guys" all through college (6 years worth). It really has come in handy when the two of us have done some couple counseling together... Everytime they are here the kid shows up at the door MK> eventually. :) When we've been at our camp, back in the days when the kid was younger and with us and all, he used to make the rounds of his favorite people up there. Sometimes even in the mornings before we were up... :) They could always tell when we were in, when he came a-calling... MK> Me too ... when I care to look back that is. Hopefully we learned from it all, though... ttyl neb ...
