We use two different chemicals here... one is quite caustic but does a great 
job, it's called "Goof-Off", should be available from many home supplies 
store or big paint stores. It should be squirted on the affected area, 
scrubbed with a green brillo pad, then thrown into the washer. If you leave 
it on for a LONG time, it will eat the fabric.
The other is "Stain off", mainly for carpets. It requires use of an iron.
I'd use the goof off, it does wonders.
It's got heavy vapors, but now heavy enough to poison the house if all you're 
doing is one shirt.
